June 20, 2017, (Manchester, NH) – This year, ITNH, Inc., a leading provider of industrial inkjet printers, ink and media, is celebrating its 16th anniversary since partnering with Mimaki USA.
ITNH’s relationship with Mimaki started in 2001 with the Mimaki JV4-160, a large format, roll-to-roll printer. ITNH was already an established nationwide distributor when a Mimaki salesman sent Managing Partner Michael Terlizzi the model to try for a test run.
“Once we started using the printer, we realized how advanced it was,” said Terlizzi. “The engineering was six months to a year ahead of everyone else at the time.”
Immediately impressed by the technology behind the JV4-160, ITNH began a partnership with Mimaki. “We started off selling a few dozen Mimaki printers a year,” said Terlizzi. “Now we have a demand for upwards of a couple hundred printers a year, if not more.”
Over the past 16 years, that relationship has grown and ITNH now considers the Mimaki product line to be its flagship brand. ITNH was even responsible for the sale of Mimaki’s first flatbed printer in America in 2004. ITNH’s growth continues with the addition of Scott Yurashek as Southwestern Sales Manager.
Yurashek comes to ITNH with nearly three decades of experience in the printing industry. Headquartered in Dallas, Yurashek’s territory includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi, with the goal of increasing both ITNH and Mimaki’s presence in the area.
Since day one, ITNH has been one of Mimaki’s most successful and highest selling dealerships. As one of the first American companies to become experts in Mimaki’s UV technology, ITNH is continually at the top of the charts when it comes to sales and revenue.
“There’s definitely a parallel to our company growing and Mimaki growing in terms of sales and revenue,” said Terlizzi. “We’ve been great partners for 16 years now and it’s definitely helped each other succeed.”
So, what ever happened to that first JV4-160 printer? It ran successfully in the field for 12 years of service until Terlizzi took it back on trade for sentimental reasons. The printer now has a permanent home in the ITNH showroom and reminds the team (and customers) of the long-term possibilities of Mimaki’s engineering.
