How to Make Custom Labels for Wine Bottles (& Other FAQs)
Q: How does the Breva work?
A: Using the Breva printer to design your own custom wine bottle labels is easy. The process is as follows:
- Design your graphic in the Breva Control Center using premade, application-specific templates. Templates help support the accurate placement of graphics, especially if you use a jig.
- Save your design as a PDF, PNG, JPG, NMP, EPS or TIF file.
- Turn on the Breva printer and load the appropriate color cartridge for your design.
- Place the appropriate jig with the item(s) you wish to print on in the Breva.
- The Breva Control Center will now prompt you to enter the height of the item you wish to print on and your desired color saturation value (up to 100%).
- Open your saved design, hit “Print” and you’re done! The Breva Control Center will automatically load your file onto the printer for immediate printing.
If there’s a particular design you intend to use frequently, you can save it to the Breva — which can hold up to 50 files — and automatically print it without having to repeat the steps listed above.
